Inner Parkside is a low-key, family-friendly neighborhood comprised of mostly beautifully maintained single-family homes built during the 1940s. Residents enjoy convenient access to several popular outdoor recreation areas, including McCoppin Square, Stern Grove, Hawk Hill Park and Pine Lake Park, with several area schools supplying additional sports fields and playgrounds. For beach lovers, the soft sand and panoramic views of Ocean Beach are just a five-minute bike ride away.

Inner Parkside’s main commercial strip is along Taraval Street where the MUNI line runs through. The area is peppered with organic coffee houses, ethnically diverse eateries, and mom-and-pop grocery stores. For more heavy-duty shopping, Stonestown Galleria on 19th Avenue is home to major department stores and national retail chains. The Inner Parkside is centrally located, with nearby 19th Avenue providing easy access to Highway 280 leading to Silicon Valley, and the L-Taraval line traveling directly downtown. ©2016 Maryann LoRusso
